River’s Edge Camping and Cabins offers canoe, kayak and tube rental with or without a shuttle ride “up river”.
Trip With Shuttle:
We drive you 3 miles up river to Connellsville and drop you off at the river park. Typically, in a canoe or kayak, it will take you about an hour and 30 minutes to paddle back to the campground where you will pull the canoe out. Tube trips last from 3 to 3 1/2 hours. Actual time spent on the river can depend on river conditions—fast or slow currents - and you! Many guests stop off along the banks of the river for a picnic lunch or to fish. It’s up to you how long to make your trip. You can use the canoe, kayak or tube until 7:00 pm (6 pm Sundays) OR you can do a "Quick Trip" for a two-hour rental in a canoe or kayak.
Rates are per canoe, kayak or tube and include life jackets, oars and shuttle.
Rental Without Shuttle:
Launch the canoe from the banks of the campground and paddle around all day if you wish! Rates are per day and include life jackets and oars. You can use the canoe, kayak and tube until 7:00 pm (6 pm Sundays). Simply pull the canoe, kayak or tube out of the water and return your oars and life jackets to the camp store.
Two hours advanced reservations required.
There is an additional $10.00 per person rental fee for those who are not registered campers.
