Tent Site Rental Rates 2008

Weekly— 7th night FREE	$168	$138

Check-in after 1 pm; Check out by noon.
-Three night minimum for all holiday weekends.
-Each site has a fire ring and picnic table.
-Rates include 2 adults and 2 children.
-One night deposit due at time of reservation.
-Max per site 7 people.
-Visitor fees:  $3 per person per day/$6 overnight
-Visitors must be registered in the office each day
-Visitors must exit park by 10 pm
-Camp for six nights—the seventh night is FREE!

Campers coming off the bike trail qualify for a discount off camping rates.  Reservations not required.

Quiet hours for the entire campground begin at 11:00 pm.

The River’s Edge Camping and Cabins has 50 primitive tenting sites—most directly on the banks of the Youghiogheny River.   Group camping areas are also available for groups of to 50 to 75 adults and children.

As you drive into the campground, you can’t miss the beautiful A-frame structure waiting to greet you.  In the A-frame, you’ll find the reservation desk, snacks and drinks, RV and camping supplies, T-shirts, and a well deserved end-of-the-day hand-dipped ice cream cone!

 

Amenities included with your site rental: private showers and restrooms, a swimming pool, game room and coin laundry facility.  View the Facilities page for more amenities and facilities available with your site.

Canoe, kayak and tube rental with shuttle “up river” is available for individuals or groups as well as rental of our brand new pavilion at the playground area.  Call ahead for reservations for all rentals.
